The Craichouse comedy club runs every saturday night in the LV Bar on McCurtain st, Cork and is a great night's entertainment at only a fiver! The Craichouse has been rockin Cork audiences for over 5 years now with Ireland's best up and coming talent and this saturday promises to be no exception with a stellar lineup of comics. If you're looking for something different, this is it! In the Craichouse, every night is different with a mixture of beginners, up and coming and more established acts taking to the stage to make you laugh and provide a brilliant night's entertainent.
Headline act Billy Anderson graces us with his presence this Saturday. Billy who is originally from Georgia in the United States and now based in Dublin is building a reputation as one of the most fresh and original comics on the Irish stand up scene and brings his act "home" to Cork for one night only!
Your compere for the evening is the always amitable Ben Buckley. Ben has a warm, energetic style that never fails to whip the audience into a frenzy. So don't be scared if he says hello, he's a nice guy.
Support on the night will come from Vinny Mchale (Dublin), John "chief" Cronin (Cork, boy), Pauline Curtin (Dublin) and the man from Passage West: Tom Mahoney So come along for a laugh and the craic as the craichouse welcomes you for a great night of comedy. |

After another SELL OUT show last week the Craichouse Comedy Club will be back this Saturday 24th July with another action packed night of Comedy fun. The Craichouse has been running in Cork City for over 5 years now and is a fantastic nights entertainment. The Craichouse takes place in the back room of The LV Bar, 55 McCurtain St, Cork (behind the Bowling Alley, near enough to the Everyman!) and is only a fiver making us the official best value night out in Cork!
Everybody asks us the same question. And the answer is yes, it IS funny! All the acts who play in the Craichouse will be up and coming comedians making their way up the slippery slope to Comedy stardom and this is your chance to catch them before they're famous and experience the true side to comedy!
This Saturday sees Craichouse regulars John Cronin and Dave "Skinny and Bony" Moloney along with along with Scottish maestro Dave Herron and Dublin comic Mark Doheny as well as a super special guest headline act!
So pop along for the laugh and maybe even some Craic every Saturday night! |

TheCraichouse.com's favourite comedian Tim Hadfield headlines the Craichouse this Saturday!
The Craichouse Comedy Club runs in The LV Bar on McCurtain st, Cork every Saturday from 9.30pm and for just a fiver you get to see a genius at work! That genius is Tim Hadfield! Tim tops the poll as Your Favourite Craichouse Comedian on the Craichouse's website and can only be described as a great comedian with a difference. Tim has a very whimsical style making the audience love his care free attitude to life caressing all the thoughts that enter his head before: BANG..!! he's hit you with a sucker punch joke of solid gold! This is an act that not only makes you laugh, but also makes you laugh while giving you a warm feeling inside. Tim will be giving us exploits from his one man show "The Pursuit of Human Happiness" a very apt title as Tim aims to bring you there before the night is out!
John "chief" Cronin will MC the night with his angry rants and beautiful sarcastic temperement!
Support on the night will come from Dave "Skinny and Bony" Moloney, Dubliner Mark Cahill and Mr.Limerick himself Mick Perril

The Craichouse comedy club runs EVERY Saturday Night in the LV Bar on McCurtain St Cork and this Saturday promises to be a craicer!!
And before you ask: Yes! It IS funny!
Headline Act this Saturday July 17th is Meath based comic FJ Murray! FJ is a comic with a difference..he used to be a priest... no that's not a joke he actually used to be a priest but is now a very funny comedian with a unique take on life and a loveable brand of great unique and very clever jokes. No stranger to the comedy scene FJ has graced stages all over Ireland including Dublin, Galway, Belfast and most recently Castlemartyr where he took the roof off the place (with his jokes obviously!) So don't miss FJ this Saturday in the Craichouse.
MC for the evening is Tipp man Ben Buckley. Probably the nicest compere in Ireland Ben will make you feel at home, shoot down the hecklers and bring on the acts whilst at all times making you laugh!
Support on the night comes from Craichouse regulars John Cronin and Dave Moloney with a little help from Dubliners Danny Murray and Dave Reilly!

After last week's sell out show the Craichouse is back this Saturday 3rd July from 9.30pm with a ball busting night of comedy showcasing the one and only Keith Anderson as hedline act!
Keith has gained a reputation for his angry take-no-prisoners style as he rips rooms to pieces arund the country with his un apologetic brand of though provoking humour! Keith will be giving his excerpts from his new one man show that he will be bringing to Edinburgh this year. His new show: "Un beaten Black n Blue" has been described as "Not just a Stand Up Comedy Show, but an exploration of life; Social, Political, Spiritual and Personal, as seen through the eyes of one of Ireland's most unique, honest and thought provoking comedians!"
Don't miss Keith at his brilliant best!
Once again the Craichouse presents musical regular and crowd favourite David Duff. Duff, formerly of Red FM will perform his already well know songs that have audiences returning to the Craichouse on a regular basis to here. Duff is an undiscovered talent so come along to check him out!
We also have Cork native and Craichouse regular John "the chief" Cronin, Midleton's adopted son Barry Magan, Limerick lad Jason Keegan and new comer Joseph O'Loughlin.
